There are plenty of people in the Philadelphia area who do wedding
videos, so why should you have me behind the camera and in front of
the editor when your big day rolls around? Here are a few reasons:
-
I understand
that the wedding is all about the couple and not about
me. Therefore, I won’t be in your face all day and
night with an overpowering light. Many couples have told
me that they barely noticed me at their weddings, and I
take that as a compliment.
-
I guarantee
to have your video finished no more than two weeks after
your wedding day. In fact, I almost always have the
finished product ready for you when you arrive back from
your honeymoon. Why would you want to wait 6-8 weeks to
see your video?
-
Unlike most videographers, the only payment I
require up front is a $100 deposit regardless of
the package booked. If you wish to pay off the
entire balance or a portion of it prior to the
wedding day, that’s fine. If not, simply pay the
balance when you get the final copies. I
understand couples can be stressed out with so
much to pay for before the wedding, and the
option of paying upon delivery is my way of
trying to take some pressure off of you. Of
course, you will have a contract signed by me
with your name and wedding date for your own
peace of mind.
-
Only
the best equipment is used both in shooting and
editing. The video is shot on mini-dv tapes
using 3-chip digital video cameras and edited
using top-of-the-line professional equipment
from Apple.
-
You
will receive three copies of your final edited
video on your choice of VHS or DVD. All DVDs
come with chapter markers, allowing you to skip
around to your favorite parts of the video (i.e.
vows or recap).
-
As
your wedding approaches, you undoubtedly want
the comfort of knowing that the people you have
chosen to help make your day special are always
available if you have any questions (i.e. DJ,
videographer, photographer). Some of the larger
companies that provide video have a group of
shooters, and it is entirely possible that you
won’t even know the name of your videographer
until the week of the wedding. Often, the
shooter you get isn’t the same person who
produced that dazzling sample you watched before
you booked. That certainly isn’t the case with
me, as the couples that I work for are well
aware that I am always available if a question
pops up.
-
If
you want to speak to couples that I have worked
for in the past, simply ask and I will provide
phone numbers. I want you to be comfortable with
your decision.
